Bullet cancel appearances

Bullet For My Valentine are forced to cancel appearances at DS Luzhniki Arena in Moscow and Tuska Metal Festival in Finland in June 2009 due to recording commitments for their 3rd Album.

The band have been holed up in the studio for the past month writing and demoing material for their upcoming 3rd Album in Wales with producer Don Gilmore(Linkin Park, Lacuna Coil). After the show in Luxembourg on April 18th the band will not be playing any more live dates until Mayhem Festival kicks off in the USA on the July 10th so that they can focus on completing the new album, scheduled for a 4th Quarter worldwide release through Sony Music.

The band say: "The past few weeks have been a bit crazy, and we apologise to all the fans who have bought tickets to shows that have now been cancelled. It has been difficult to try and fit everything in around the recording schedule, but the most important thing is for us to finish this album. We promise we will be back with a vengeance later this year, armed with a brand new record. To all our fans, thank you for your patience and understanding, we sincerely appreciate your support!"

SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, KORPIKLAANI Confirmed For Finland's TUSKA Festival

SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and KORPIKLAANI have been confirmed for the 12th annual Tuska open-air metal festival, set to take place June 26-28, 2009 at Kaisaniemi in Helsinki, Finland. Meanwhile, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE was forced to cancel its appearance at the event due to recording commitments for the band's third album.

Commented the group in a statement: "The past few weeks have been a bit crazy, and we apologize to all the fans who have bought tickets to the shows that have now been cancelled. It has been difficult to try and fit everything in around the recording schedule, but the most important thing is for us to finish the album."

A total of 32 bands will perform on three stages over the course of three days. In addition, a couple of dozen bands will appear at evening clubs throughout the city.

Bullet For My Valentine added to the Rock Band store next week

MTV and Harmonix have revealed tracks by Bullet For My Valentine and The Shins will be added to the Rock Band store next week.

Welsh Metallers BFMY contribute “Waking the Demon” from last year's Scream Aim Fire album and American indie types the Shins offer up “New Slang” from Oh, Inverted World.

Also added to the store are Black Tide's “Warriors of Time” and a six track pack from singer-songwriter Toby Keith.

Bullet For My Valentine are currently finishing off material for their new album. The band has had to cancel two shows in South Africa in order to concentrate on the new album.

Frontman Matt Tuck comments: "We're absolutely gutted to have to cancel these shows, we were proper looking forward to it, but we are really getting stuck in with writing new songs and we have busy schedule to get everything prepared for recording the new album - which we are all really excited about! So we apologise to our fans in S.A. but we promise we’ll be back!"

El 17 y 18 de abril tendrá lugar en Bélgica, un año más, el Groezrock, uno de los mejores festivales europeos de punk, hardcore y todos sus subgéneros. Ya va por su decimoctava edición y la organización nos presenta un cartel cada vez mejor, este año encabezado por grupos de la talla de NOFX, Rise Against, Bullet For My Valentine, Taking Back Sunday o The Get Up Kids, seguidos de más de cincuenta bandas. BFMV CANCEL SUDÁFRICA apariciones en festivales

Bullet For My Valentine son muy reacios a anunciar la cancelación de sus presentaciones en "Mi Festival de Coca-Cola 2009" en Sudáfrica en abril, que se llevar a cabo en Johannesburgo el 10 de abril y el 13 de abril en Cape Town, como parte de la alineacióon se incluye Oasis y Snow Patrol.

Bullet For My Valentine se queedará en el Reino Unido para centrarse en sus compromisos de grabación. Actualmente se encuentran en el estudio grabando el nuevo material para su próximo álbum con el productor Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Lacuna Coil).

La banda pide una disculpa a todos sus fans en Sudáfrica y les asegura que estarán de regresar muy pronto.

Matt Tuck dijo: "Estamos absolutamente apenados por tener que cancelar estos shows, porque estamos escribiendo las nuevas canciones y hemos apretada la agenda para tener todo listo y grabar el nuevo álbum -todos estamos muy emocionados por eso! Bullet For My Valentine are very reluctant to announce the cancellation of their appearances at ‘My Coke Festival 2009’ in South Africa in April. The band were due to perform in Johannesburg on the 10th April and in Cape Town on the 13th April as part of a line-up including Oasis and Snow Patrol.
